We must protect children, ALL of them, but especially the youth that fall into the marginalized groups with the LGBTQ+ community. Times are tough for kids today, we should not add to their stressors and accept them for who they are. It is not our place as adults, teachers, physicians, etc. As people in “authority” it is our job to protect and love them, not potentially condemn them or put them in danger. PERIOD. If you are truly concerned with protecting life, how about applying that to these children too?
