Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
This bill is extremely hurtful to many groups and will make teaching extremely difficult. School districts already have policies and procedures to approve materials for students and should not have legislators dictating what can or cannot be taught.
