Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
I am strongly opposed to the labeling of any and all LGBT+ content as "sexually explicit". Age-appropriate titles exist to explain these concepts to children and should not be misconstrued by hateful, right-wing ideologies.
