Let Our Children Learn

Virginia is home to a school districts that consistently get ranked highly when compared to others in our nation. By jumping on the conservative "don't say gay" bandwagon, Virginia undermines its desirable education system falling into the trap of becoming censorious black boxs more focused on a thin veneer of political gains than education. The guidance document seeks to classify homosexuality as sexually explicit - defying logic. Instead, the guidance should be edited to clearly protect speech related to homosexuality to guarantee that all Virginians can be included in our education system.
