Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
I support these Model Policies as a modest first step toward restoring the rights of parents to protect their child attending public school from being subjected to sexually explicit material the parent deems inappropriate for their child.
