I am opposed to this bill due to the censorship at the heart of it, particularly as it relates to the characterization of homosexuality as inherently “sexually explicit.” To paint homosexuality as a whole as sexually explicit is abhorrent. This will erase the identity and experiences of educators, and it will deny the students of same-sex parents opportunities to see their family structure respected and represented.
