Model Policies for Explicit Sexual Content in Education

Parents in Virginia should have the right to fully understand the level of detail in sexually explicit information that is being shared with their children. The responsibility to raise children and care for their wellbeing is the parents, and the school system should not usurp this authority in any way. A parent understands their children better than the school system and knows what level of detail is appropriate for their children.

Please enact these safeguards and respect the relationship that Virginia parents have.
