Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
I support parents being notified of any sexual content with the ability to review materials and opt their child out of this topic. Parents alone are qualified to determine at what age or context their child is exposed to these types of material.
