Oppose - protect freedom of speech and expression in schools

Bills like these will disproportionately affect books with content relating to reproductive rights and LGBTQ characters. Such censorship leads to further marginalization of LGBTQ youth. It also creates extra work for teachers who are already overworked and underpaid. Parents should already have access to their children's syllabi and can discuss any objections personally with their teachers.
