Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).

Senate Bill 656

I support this bill to protect our vulnerable children.  Each school must  be required to take specific actions to ensure that sexually explicit materials are identified and that parents see them first. We know that some schools will try to avoid doing so. This way it can be more effective in keeping our children safe.
