Books are a path to understanding

The written language is a pathway to learning and understanding. Most of anything that anyone learns is through written accounts, books, news, testimonials, etc. By censoring any level of books or reading material at large begins a very dangerous path of censoring information that could eventually lead to passions in subjects that creates additional discoveries and understanding for generations to come. Science was once thought of as witchcraft. However, without those who read, and learned, and discovered, we wouldn’t have the scientific and technological advancements that we enjoy today. Such as medicine, internet, electricity, and so on. Allow books to remain accessible. Just because you may not understand or agree with the content doesn’t make it inherently bad. The “bad” is a perception. Your perception is not law. We need to stop making arguments of and for the individual and regain sight of the larger populous and the benefits therein of differing bases of knowledge.
