NO To The Mandate - Follow The Law

We have come to a point in our government when overreach has become unacceptable.  Taking health and education decisions for children out of the control of parents is more than a simple overreach.  It is a tipping point where the government is no longer of the people and for the people.  It is a tipping point where the Commonwealth of Virginia becomes tyrannical and becomes the government our founding fathers warned against.

Virginia Code 22.1-271.2 "Immunization Requirements" paragraph C provides for an exemption for students for "religious tenets or practices" or "certification from a licensed physician".  Virginia Code 32.1-46 paragraph D also provides for these exemptions. The policymakers should abide by Virginia Code and not overstep their authority.

This proposal is taking Virginia down a very dark path.  Today's policymakers who support this type of mandate lack the wisdom to see how detrimental this will be in further dividing our society.
