My educated guess is that board will ignore all comments which advocate for NO mandates. Let me say first I was among the first to be vaxed and to get the booster. But that was my choice. And, I got the Flu vax at the same time - can you imagine? Everyone should be given the choice! The notion that democrats on a board can rule under the guise of public health emergency is nonsense. "The Pandemic reigns supreme." Let the individual decide whether it is in their best interest to wear a mask or get vaccinated. We cannot have that because such persons will infect me and others who have been vaccinated. NOT SO, the only persons who are risk are those who do not have natural immunity or vax immunity. If those who are in that group want to risk being infected, so be it. MY suggestion [well educated] is to let it be. Let people choose and all will be well.
Flu reached epidemic levels in the U.S. for 10 weeks in a row during the 2004-2005 season. Records kept by the CDC show that during the week ending March 5, 2005, 8.9% of all deaths reported in 122 U.S. cities were due to influenza and pneumonia (a common complication of the flu). This is a quote from Web MD. The point is more folks will die from Flu than the Whu. So why do we not demand that every person get a Flu shot?
The board is srewed up for even considering a mandate. Nothing could be more stupid.
