Respect for All People

Whereas many people have a variety of reasons for opposing the vaccine, and

Whereas people of various religious faiths including Muslim, Hindu, and Christian communities have religious objections to this vaccine, and

Whereas this vaccine has been politicized and used to discriminate against people, and

Whereas the creation of a vaccine mandate in this environment would create a group of people who would be treated as 2nd class citizens, and

Whereas treating people as 2nd class citizens is oppressive, anti-American, and wrong, and

Whereas as a result of politicians and others using the vaccine mandate as a weapon has caused many to lose trust in various institutions of our society including but not limited to government (federal, state, local), various agencies, various industries, and the medical profession,

I move to remove any threat or indication of a vaccine mandate.

Furthermore, should a vaccine mandate be implemented against the will of the people (majority or minority), broad exemptions should be allowed including but not limited to religious and medical exemptions.
