The number one medical cause of death in children is cancer NOT covid. The government can put time, energy and money into childhood cancer research.
Influenza has caused numerous deaths every single year to the aged and young.  There was never a mandate for the flu vaccine. This is political. 
Parents love their children more than the government loves them.  Parents will make the best decisions  for their children.
