At a time when western European countries are banning the Moderna vaccine and Pfizer says there's no need to vaccinate children, American politics has taken over the discussion. As a physician, there is NO argument for vaccinating children. Why? Because those at risk are the elderly WITH comorbidities. Why not children? Because the most prevalent is diabetes. It takes years to develop chronic disease. Kids haven't lived long enough to develop immune system destroying diseases. Therefor  there is NO argument for vaccinating children. Additionally, mandates of this type completely disregard and disrespect those whose religious beliefs are opposed to vaccinations. These mandates violate science, religious freedoms and civil rights.
