This type of mandate is tyranny at its worst: based 100% on fear. The risk to children is infinitesimal. That means almost non-existent, so small that it’s hardly measurable. Given the lack of long term health impacts and the low catastrophic risk, it is LUDICROUS to propose this mandate, especially for kids. The risk-benefit is obvious. That means: unknown (higher) risk than any true benefit. Furthermore, vaccinating my child won’t make yours less at risk. Go ahead and vaccinate yours, as it will reduce her symptoms with an actual risk reduction of less than 1% and actually a lot less than that to the order of .0007%. Please read the research and understand the dearth of long term data and what that means in decision making on your OWN health. But don’t force your fear and utter lack of scientific understanding on the public. Lastly, totally UNCONSTITUTIONAL to take away people’s religious freedoms.
