Absolutely not, total violation

You are very correct in saying “The irrational minority should not be dictating the public health policy for VA or the schools”, only you are directing that at the wrong people.  Anyone who would require my children to get an experimental vaccine (and yes, they are not using the “FDA approved” version yet if you pay attention) to go to school is insane. We didn’t mandate the flu vaccine every year. We recommend it. Just as if you want to be “safe”, you can choose to vaccinate yourself and your children. You should not be able to force me to make my kids GMO to make you feel good about yourself and more “comfortable”. If you aren’t comfortable with your kid in school, then take her out and homeschool her. Don’t punish the rest of us for your irrational fear.  You have no idea what the long-term consequences of this vaccination will be. No one does. It could be the next thalidomide, DDT, asbestos, or even baby powder all of which were thought to be safe and helpful at one time.  They’re already coming after adults with this ineffective (at best) inoculation. I don’t know how you could live with yourself forcing it on the next generation.
