As an RN and school nurse, I would like to see Virginia mandate vaccines with only medical exemptions. The very loose religious exemptions have been the cause of varicella and measle outbreaks in years past. We are struggling to regain some sense of normalcy and desperately need the public to follow medical advice. It is clear that the only way to make this happen is through mandated vaccines.

The vaccines we have are safe and effective. This has been proven worldwide. 

We, as a commonwealth, deserve to have a normal life. This can happen with public health and vaccines.
