On what scientific data would this be based on? How do we know the long term effects this will have on our children? If the vaccine works, why does everyone have to get it and not just those who choose? Why was no one forced to take the flu shot all these years? The flu shot is optional and, like the COVID shot, is not guaranteed to keep you from getting it but to hopefully lessen your symptoms. It certainly does not keep anyone from spreading it. Additionally, the vaccine is not proven to be effective on the mutations of the virus. Why in the world would anyone consider this as a mandate with so many questions and inconsistencies still remaining? And on our children?! A demographic that shows they are a minute number of affected people. Someone is suggesting that I have my children injected with something I DO NOT WANT THEM INJECTED WITH to protect someone else???

I hope and pray that the people reading these comments have children. I hope you are reading these out loud and really hearing what it is that this petition is asking for and understanding that it is a ridiculous request. 

It could be argued that the vaccine could be more dangerous to the public as people with the vaccine can be asymptomatic and unknowingly spread the virus, whereas the symptomatic infected person will likely know that they are sick and stay home.

If children are forced to take a vaccine that is not scientifically proven to be effective in order to attend school, a large number of parents will remove their children from public/private school and homeschool or move out of state. Masks are useless and the vaccine does not have enough long-term data. Additionally, I will not be bullied into injecting something into my children...PERIOD!
