Caregivers and instructors are concerned about the youth and children. Some, including myself, looking at the current evidence,  are unhappy with the efficacy of the shots as compared to those not getting them, and have legitimate concerns, both medical and religious. This country is chafing under an emergency status and we all want it to end soon. But I do not agree with forcing caregivers and instructors to go against their consciences. Doing that will not bring an end to this situation. COVID-19 will continue to be passed each season, to and through vaccinated and unvaccinated alike, mutating as all corona viruses do. We need to have a reasonable response to this from our leadership, not a heavy-handed approach. We need leaders who are willing to trust that the people under their jurisdiction will make responsible and right choices for their own families and schools. Please say NO to the mandate and YES to entrusting the people with the future of our educational environment.
