I respectfully request that you do not mandate the covid vaccine for school aged children or school staff. Getting the vaccine should be a personal choice. If it works, then the person getting it will have protection and it won't matter if they come into contact with someone who does not have the vaccine or is sick. That's how a vaccine works. Forcing people to get something that they are not comfortable with to protect others does not make sense in any way. That's like me asking everyone around me to take pain medicine when I have a headache so that my pain medicine will work and I can feel better.

Parents have been entrusted with the well-being of their children and we should be free to make the decisions for them that we feel is best. We will not put our children's health at risk to take something we do not want them to have. Leave us with the choice we should have, and trust people to make the best choices for them and their family. Thank you.
