The Virginia legislature and VDH must move forward based on science and public health best practice, not partisan politics and conspiracy theories, and add the COVID-19 vaccine to the long list of vaccinations required for Virginia children to attend public schools and also require the vaccine for public school employees. Once there is full approval for the vaccine for children ages 5 and up, this vaccine should be added to the long list of required vaccines for Virginia children to enter and attend school.
