This is a public health and safety issue, not a political one. As the parent of young children it is a scary enough world to send them into without COVID. Where we have the resources and ability to make our schools safer for both teachers and students we should do so. The vaccines are the best defense we have against a deadly disease. I understand that some people don’t want to vaccinate their children or themselves, that is their right, but then it is also incumbent on them to homeschool their children and keep themselves out of society so they do not put others at risk. Schools have mandated childhood vaccines for years and it has helped our communities. I do not see why these well developed vaccines for COVID 19 should be any different. Please mandate vaccination.
