I am in support of a COVID vaccine mandate in Virginia schools. The Delta variant is hitting children harder than the previous variants, and more children are also getting the post-COVID inflammatory syndrome, which can cause permanent damage or death. We cannot in good conscience allow this pandemic to run rampant through schools when there are (almost) FDA-approved COVID vaccines for all school-aged children. Don't let politics, opinions, and conspiracy theories dictate policies, especially when children's lives are at stake!
