In support

I agree with enforcing mandatory Covid vaccines for all students and staff in public school once it is available to all school aged children (with valid, confirmed, medical reasons being the only exception). We eliminated polio, mumps, rubella, and almost eliminated measles with vaccines.  Our society has not done enough for the wellness of all with our current vaccination rates, we must continue to support all of our vulnerable populations and that includes vaccine and mask requirements during a pandemic. In order to reduce community spread and allow schools to remain open and operational with fewer disruptions from outbreaks and suspected quarantines, we must do all we can as a society, and if it must be mandated in order to accomplish this, so be it.  I support the mandates.
