Medical Freedom

Please permit individuals and parents of minors to make the decisions they determine to be best for them.  I am double vaccinated against Covid, and I expect to soon receive the booster.  I also have a suppressed immune system.  But I very much believe in individual bodily integrity and freedom of choice on this issue.  There is a high vaccination rate and a high rate of natural immunity.  To the extent the vaccine is effective, the high vaccination rate should reduce the risk of covid for everyone.  To the extent that the vaccine is ineffective, no one should be forced to take it.  The infirm or vulnerable can choose vaccination and/or quarantine.  The healthy should be able to choose what they believe has the best chance of keeping them healthy and/or what has the best chance of not violating their consciences.

I hope the vaccine is effective long term, and I hope people will choose to be vaccinated.  But more than hoping for that, I hope for continued freedom for Americans.
