I've taken the vaccine voluntarily and believe it's the right decision for me.  But I'm not ready for the government to mandate vaccines in school age children and to take that decision away from parents.  I believe that most young people are not the ones at risk for severe illness and parents should make an informed decision after consultation with their medical professionals and based on their unique situation.  As we go forward, and we've seen the longer term effects of both the illness and any side effects from the vaccine, we may choose to have this Covid vaccine added to the list of required vaccines for children to be able to attend school
