No Vaccine Mandate for Students

Since there were few human trials of the Covid-19 vaccines on children; and given the fact that the vaccines have only been given to children for a short period of time, I believe we do not have sufficient data to determine whether these shots will have long-term negative impacts on our children. Many studies support the fact that the transmission rate of Covid-19 among students and between students and adults is very low. Given this fact, I believe it is unnecessary to put our children at risk by requiring they be vaccinated. I do not support mandatory vaccination for students of any age in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
