COVID vaccine must be mandated in school for the following reasons

1. Vaccine has been tested and implemented worldwide with almost neglibyside effects

2. Vaccine has proven to prevent severe disease and keep people out of the hospital

3. Several vaccines  are already mandatory in schools - so this is normal part of the process and in the interest of public health to mandate vaccines in schools

4. as a parent of two kids and a STEM graduate myself who works in the health insurance industry, I fully back the vaccine mandate to ensure a safe and healthy return to school for my kids as well as to ensure our health care system does not crash under the pressure of covid
