Children are at lower risk from covid than they are from the flu, yet we never mandated flu vaccines for children. Long-term studies regarding effects fertility and carcinogenicity, have yet to be completed. Manufacturer information states: “13.1 Carcinogenesis, Mutagenesis, Impairment of Fertility. COMIRNATY has not been evaluated for the potential to cause carcinogenicity, genotoxicity, or impairment of male fertility.” It mentions one study in female rats (not humans). All other vaccines on the school schedule went through at least a decade of testing before being added to the schedule. The covid vaccines are not the same. Forcing them on educators and children is wrong. If we look to other countries who have the highest vaccination rates, you'll see increased rates of infection (Israel, Singapore, etc.). Those who receive the covid vaccine are still fully able to contract covid and spread it. In fact, the only potential benefit is lessened symptoms. However, these lessened symptoms may actually create more spread, as vaccinated individuals with covid carry the same viral load in their nasal and throat passages, and they may do so without exhibiting symptoms. Why would we mandate a vaccine for those at the lowest risk of complications, when there is a heightened risk of serious side effects, such as myocarditis/pericarditis, which causes life-long cardiac problems? It is also quite telling that the person bringing this petition is the Senior Associate Attorney General at the Virginia Office of Attorney General. This reeks of a conflict of interest. Perhaps a FOIA request regarding lobbyist efforts at the office of Mark Herring need to be investigated fully. I suspect we would find the same with Herring's blessing on the university vaccine mandates. Our children are not guinea pigs who belong to the state of Virginia. Mandating this vaccine violates § 1-240.1. Rights of parents which states that "A parent has a fundamental right to make decisions concerning the upbringing, education, and care of the parent's child." Stop the mandates in this state and start following the actual science. There is ZERO science that shows that mask and vaccine mandates make our children more safe. Let's stop pretending they do.
