No support for mandates!

I do not in any way support mandating the c19 vaccine for children or staff. Each person has a right to make a determination based on their own medical history, risk/benefit, to make an informed choice. There are many reasons one may choose to get, or not get the vaccine. While many childhood vaccines are mandated, they have gone through MANY years of testing. These have not. One year (Even less than that for kids) can HARDLY be called “long term testing”. Regardless of whether we all see eye to eye, the bottom line is that where there is risk, there must be choice. As with any medical intervention, there is risk to taking the vaccine.  Children are at greater risk of drowning than dying of covid.  I support informed consent. Mandating is NOT allowing informed consent.
