As a public school teacher, I urge the representatives to vote NO on any and all attempts to coerce individuals into getting a COVID vaccine.

My wife was hospitalized for over 5 months due to COVID, and continues to have continuing medical issues resulting from the treatments she was given (she does not have ongoing health issues from COVID). She survived. I also had COVID and survived.

At this time, it is clear that there are short-term risks for some, and that those risks are not predictable. In addition, long-term effects of the vaccine are unknown. As was clear in the recent VRBAC meeting of the FDA, we don’t even know whether the vaccine efficacy continues after 6 months.

To say that these questionable vaccines circumvent the constitutionally protected freedom of religious conscience is ludicrous.

IT IS IMMORAL, ANTI-AMERICAN, AND ANTI-VIRGINIA. TO REQUIRE PEOPLE TO VIOLATE THEIR GOD-GIVEN CONSCIENCE OR LOSE THEIR LIVELIHOOD.

No to vaccine mandates!
