Action Summary | This action repeals the regulations associated with the Alzheimer's Assisted Living (AAL) Waiver, which was developed to provide care and supports to help aging Virginia residents who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other related memory disorders. Due to lack of utilization and the implementation of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) home- and community-based services (HCBS) Final Rule, AAL was ended, effective June 30, 2017. |
