General Information
Action Summary The purpose of this action is to amend 22VAC40-295-150, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families-Emergency Assistance (TANF-EA), to increase the maximum amount of assistance to $1,500 and to add eviction prevention as a qualifying circumstance for eligibility. TANF-EA provides assistance in emergency situations. The maximum amount is changing from $500 to $1,500 and eviction prevention is being added as another situation when the payment can be issued.

Executive Branch Review This Action is exempt from Article 2 of the Administrative Process Act. The normal executive branch review process is not required. As such, it can be submitted directly for publication and is effective upon publication.
