| Action Summary | This general permit regulation establishes limitations, monitoring requirements and other special conditions for point source discharge of vehicle wash wastewater from vehicle wash operations (primarily car wash and rental car businesses, car and truck dealerships, local or government fleet vehicle and equipment washing) to surface waters in order to maintain surface water quality. This regulation action is proposed in order to amend and reissue the existing general permit which expires on October 15, 2022. |
