| Action Summary |
The proposed amendment will change the regulation so that offers are addressed to the chief hearing officer and acceptance is not subject to board approval. Additionally, it amends the regulation such that it allows for the submission of an offer in compromise following the closing of the record but prior to the initial decision provided that the offer is made to the Chief Hearing Officer and postmarked no later than 14 calendar days after the mailing of an acknowledgement of receipt of a proper notice of appeal. |
