| Action Summary |
The Board of Nursing has amended regulations to reduce the late fee charged to registered and practical nurses who renew an inactive license after the renewal date. Currently, the fee would be the same for late renewal of an active license, but that fee is disproportionate to the renewal fee for an inactive license. For RNs, the fee will be reduced from $50 to $25; for LPNs, the fee will be reduced from $40 to $25. |
