| Action Summary |
The amendments to the Erosion and Sediment Control Regulations are necessary to implement statutory changes set forth in Chapter 66 of the 2016 Acts of Assembly (SB598). The amendments clarify that erosion and sediment control plans approved on and after July 1, 2014, and that are in accordance with the grandfathering or time limits on applicability of approved design criteria provisions of the Virginia Stormwater Management Program (VSMP) Regulations, shall meet the flow rate capacity and velocity requirements of the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Program. |
