| Action Summary |
The proposed amendments seek to change verbiage relating to the Department of Forensic Science’s (DFS or the Department) assessment of marijuana field test kits pursuant to Virginia Code §19.2-188.1 from an "approval" process to an "evaluation" process in an effort to more accurately express the neutrality of the evaluation process. The proposed amendments also clarify the procedure for resubmitting requests for evaluation after disapproval. |
