General Information
Action Summary The Board will conduct a general review of the regulations to ensure that the regulations complement the current Virginia Real Estate Time-Share Act, provide minimal burdens on regulants while still protecting the public, and reflect current procedures and policies of the Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. Amendments will also establish requirements and procedures for the registration of time-share resellers pursuant to ยง 55-394.3 of the Code of Virginia. The amendments are necessary to implement Chapter 751 of the Acts of the 2012 General Assembly, which were the result of HB 233.
