Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
The Department of Taxation is revising its Guidelines for the Accelerated Sales Tax Program to reflect changes in the program under 2019 House Bill 1700, the 2019 Appropriation Act, which raises the accelerated sales tax threshold to taxable sales and/or purchases of $10.0 million or greater in the previous fiscal year for the accelerated sales tax payment due in June 2020. The threshold remains at $4.0 million for the payment due in June 2019.
