Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
The updates to the Title IV-E guidance are a result of legislative and regulatory changes.  The changes, which align with changes to the Foster Care guidance, remove the requirement that the court has to approve the Voluntary Continuing Services and Support Agreement (VCSSA) for youth in Fostering Futures.  Additionally, the changes include a new requirement for the court to make a determination, within 180 days of the signing of the VCSSA, whether remaining in foster care is in the best interest of the youth.
