My name is Angela Bailey and I live and work in Virginia. I work at Hanbury, and architecture firm in Norfolk, Virginia, that provides planning and design services throughout Virginia and the United States. I write this comment in STRONG support of the continued licensure of the landscape architecture profession in Virginia, due to the following reasons.
Protection of Public Health, Safety, and Welfare
Fair Competition and Economic Impact
Eliminating the regulation of landscape architecture in Virginia is bad public policy. Continued regulation is vital to the practice, profession, industry, consumers, and the public’s health, safety, and welfare. I ask you to not eliminate the regulation of this profession.
Thank you.
