This is a serious overstep of patient-practitioner medical privacy. No doctor should ever be obligated to report ANY suspected medical condition or choice to ANYONE, especially if they didn't even test for it. That seems absurd. We aren't told what this information will be used for, whether or not it will be saved/collected for future use, and what bearing this will have on anything. This will be a serious deterrent for many families from seeking appropriate medical care for a potentially sick child for fear of reporting and what will happen.
The more you force things upon the public, the more we will push away. We will seek alternative treatments, we will find like-minded professionals who will LISTEN and HELP us the way we would like to be helped. You cannot force these things upon us. Morally and ethically it isn't the right thing to do.
