DPOR should not accept VDH proposal until Professional Soil Scientist Board is included in process
Soil Science is not about sewage disposal in the soil; however, to effectively and safely have sewage in soil one needs to understand the soil. On behalf of the Health, Welfare and Safety of the Citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I ask you to make the right decisions about how you proceed with anything regarding Soils/Soil Science/ Soil Scientists and this on-site program.
DPOR already has a Certification process in place for Professional Soil Scientists. You know this. Work with us, not against us. To work against Soil Scientists only wastes money, health, safety, and the welfare of the citizens you are sworn to protect. Do the right thing here. If noone else has said shame-shame, I shall.
DPOR should act with the Board for Certified Professional Soil Scientists when considering regulations that involve Professional Soil Scientists, or really, anything involving Soils.
DPOR should not accept VDH LOSER proposal that involves Professional Soil Scientists in wastewater treatment and disposal and dispersal in soils because the VDH did not include Soil Scientists in the development of the VDH LOSER program.
