I understand the SBE is considering a rule that would make the use of expired drivers licenses or passports unacceptable as identification to vote. I urge you to reject that rule.
Since local general registrars have not been mandated to conduct outreach to persons who don't or can't drive for various reasons, the most common likely being age, and an expired drivers license, or no such license at all. Such people are then forced to pay, perhaps a lot, to get to a registrar's office to get a free photo id, and return home.
Allow expirred driver's licenses and passports to be considered valid id.
