I live in the City of Charlottesville and I oppose Action 4905. As healthcare professionals, I hope you will look to data and focus on real public health issues facing women and girls in Virginia, such as domestic violence, maternal health, and poverty. 

I also oppose Action 4905 because it targets people who are already vulnerable to poor public health outcomes, especially trans youth. No one should face discrimination because of who they are. 

Please reject these efforts to exclude transgender people from public spaces and activities. Let's stay focused on real threats to public health and improving outcomes for everyone.
