Policing bathrooms is creepy and infringes on freedoms

I live in Fairfax County and I oppose Action 4905.

Any policy that forces women like me to undergo "gender inspection" is essentially a policy that bans women from public spaces, trans and cis. This encourages gender discrimination in direct violation of the Virginia Human Rights Act.

I am also deeply worried that instead of protecting women, this action would directly harm them. It would allow them to be forced to undergo humiliating and violating gender checks just to use a bathroom. In the worst case, this could even lead to sexual assault and pedophilia. I do not see how this promotes the health of Virginians.

Ultimately, no one should be discriminated against for who they are. It goes against the values of this state and of this country.
