Regulations Governing Allowable Credit for Teaching Experience [8 VAC 20 ‑ 410]    (Repealed)
Action:
Repeal and Amend Following Periodic Review
Action 6778

General Information
Action Summary The regulatory chapter will be repealed and the underlying language added as a definition in 8VAC20-23-10. 8VAC20-23 concerns teacher licensure and contains numerous references to credit for “teaching experience.” As it stands now, 8VAC20-410 is a stand-alone chapter that appears designed to clarify requirements in 8VAC20-23. Shifting the language of 8VAC20-410 to 8VAC20-23 will enhance clarity and streamline VDOE’s regulatory catalogue.
